The local village of Par is within easy walking distance and has a range of shops, pubs and restaurants to suit most tastes. The town of St Austell is just few miles distant.
Just a short stroll from your holiday home, will bring you onto sandy Par Beach itself, which is noted for its safe bathing. For the more energetic, access can gained to the South West Coast Path from the beach. Running eastwards along the cliffs through the quaint village of Polkerris and on to the coastal harbour town of Fowey. To the west, the coastal path skirts Par harbour passes through the village of Par itself.
The local and extended area abounds with wonderful and interesting places to visit, from historic country estates and their peaceful gardens, to the futuristic domes of the world renown ‘Eden Project’ are just minutes away by car.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan are just a slightly further afield.
Par is a convenient base from which explore Cornwall’s moors, rugged coastline and many other attractions; ancient fishing villages, wildlife sanctuaries and theme parks etc.
